If you know me, and understand me — you would know I’m the most anxious being in the group. I’m still trying to figure out the difference between nervous, stress, and anxious. But what I know and experience — anxiety affects your breathing, heart rate, and well being. Unfortunately I don’t even remember being anxious for the first time. But I do remember it the last time, and I know ‘it’s okay’ … ‘ it’s in your head’ …’hey, just chill’ never makes me feel better. To be honest, I don’t even know why am I writing this article, as I’m not the right person to recommend remedies to how to overcome anxiety. So what is this article going to be? Well, it’s going to be things which have helped me personally, and if it helps you, super great! if it doesn’t, then also great! As our heart rate beats to different rhythm of life, and music.

I remember telling my friend — yahan sukoon sa mila tha kaafi samay baad! I’m glad i could capture the moment to relive it.

ish zindagi ki raftar mei, thora them jaooo, thora sab kinare par rkh do, thora aasmaan ko bas dekhooo aur apne dil ki awaz suno — farak dikhega tumhe- koshish toh karo apne sath rehne ki..

/ It is just another bump in the road.

/ Anxiety just crawls into your system like anything, and it’s difficult to explain it to your friends. It makes you feel nothing, and everything at the same time. If I know my anxiety has been caused by this recent activity, I immediately call to my friends- and rant my recent act of doing. Just sharing my stuff with my loved ones makes me feel calmer. It allows me to make me feel safe.

as long as it make sense to you, it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else in the world.

/ ‘We suffer more in imagination than in reality’ — recently I went through this Instagram reel which goes like this — A kid and an elder brother was walking in the forest in the early morning with fog all around. A kid said — ” I can’t look through the path, and I don’t know what to do”, brother said — “What can you do in a moment is to take one step ahead, and that’s more than enough” — this made me realise how often we are clouded with the bigger picture that all of us fumble while taking the smaller step which is in our control.

/ One bad day doesn’t define your entire life or even for that matter one week. This bad moment would just become any other memory in your system, and you would be good to go.

Jitna apno par bhaorsa rkhte ho, thora khud par krke dekho ki kitna aacha lgta hai

/ If I’m in office and going through anxiety — what I do? I text my friends — have a call for a minute or two. Second, I find a place for self, and tell it myself aloud — you are able to get through it, and you can actually do it. You didn’t come so far to give up, so buckle up and enjoy the ride! Sometimes a self talk helps.

/Anxiety can be feeling as though you are unable to relax no matter what you do because you cannot calm the thoughts running wild through your head. It goes away slowly and steadily. It’s very difficult and painful — but stay with it for a while. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Sooraj bhi samay ke sath dhal jata hai, ushi tarah tumhra pain bhi samay ke sath dhal jayega. Yeh toh bas zindagi ki rut hai..

/ Gratitude helps! If you haven’t tried, do it! Our mind response to positive new, writings, books, songs, conversation etc with ease, and it makes us feel safe. Before you sleep all you can do is — ‘ I feel safe and I’m comfortable’

/ If today is bad, tomorrow is a new day, and you may start again!

Life is never about big moments, khushiyan toh choti choti baaton mei hai- khusiyan toh raat ke 2 bje ki chai mei hai

/ I have if I consume a lot of content, I know my anxiety for that particular week might touch the roof! Limit the content consumption — as it can get overwhelming after a point of time.

I don’t even know if this make sense or not — but at the end of the day — always believe everything is going to be okay, and you are also going to be okay.

Samay ko bhi samay do dost..thora khudse bhi thora zyda pyaar karoo..

Tum hi hero ho apni life ke, Tum hi apni kahani khud likhoge,Utho phirse, and choo lo aasman ko! Kyunki har raat ke baad toh sawera hota hai..

I wanna quote my friend here —

“Safar hai, hamesha asaan thori hoga, zindagi bahut khoobsurat hai, tu hamesha pareshan thori hoga” — Anany Shukla
