Embracing Chaos: Finding Beauty in the Messiness of Life
Read this recently, it resonated with me — so sharing it with you too :
‘I’m worried,’ said Tiny Dragon
‘ I don’t what to do next.’
‘For just a moment,’ said Big Panda, ‘ Stop, breathe, and listen to the wind in the bamboo’
Why one feels wrong despite feeling right. Despite having everything, one may feel empty. The more stories you find in your heart, the deeper it is like the ocean. You’ll come out of it a completely different person once you do. Does that imply that diving deep into the ocean helps you feel better? Maybe not, but it gives you a momentary sense of completeness. It makes you think about how lovely life would be if not for the chaos that exists outside of you.
As someone said it rightly, “No one is wise enough, when they are living the moment”
Is it only me experiencing this string of negative feelings? Is it? I really hope not. I am aware that everyone feels the same things at some points in their lives. Life, in my opinion, isn’t about the highs; rather, it’s about the lows you experienced that made you know how appreciative you should be of the highs. You will receive what you deserve, as I have heard many times before. Nothing can be taken from you.

/ Do not have friends to rely on? What you waiting for then? Take the leap of faith because you know what — “Jump if you must, the person you will become will catch you…”
/When we let it be the way it wants to be. Truly unfiltered. The joy lies in it, and also the truth.
/As I became older, I discovered that growing up is a con. It’s interesting how younger children now are falling into the same trap as we did. Have obligations, but don’t forget to have fun. Even if they can, adults often opt not to enjoy themselves.
/We crave to earn so much on monthly basis but yet we do need so little to make our heart happy. This is a irony of life.
/ Being human means experiencing emotions. Life isn’t about avoiding suffering but how one navigates it.
/ Even though it seems like everything is gloomy, look for the light. As Dumbledore said, “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light”
/ Choose yourself kid! Choose yourself always. Make that kid inside you more proud, happier, and more loved. You deserve it.
/ Do not forget to live. Easier said than done. We all are running like mad behind every possible goals, but process also requires your present. Learn to live.
/ Learn to believe in the person you are becoming. Learn to welcome laughs, and love along the way, learn to embrace even the anger, and tears. All of these weather good or bad — makes it you!
/ Remember this — some people won’t hear you despite being super logical, decibels on point, how truthful, how respectful & lovable. Wish them well, and blessings. Allow them leave your present — so that you can bring all these energy inwards.
/ I learned this recently — the artwork which we do, we need to realise we should not seek for the validation from the external world. The art we do is for our heart, and soul — and not for the opinions & judgement from the world. Be original, and authentic.
/ Some silences shouldn’t be broken. Just learn to listen to them.
/ Motivation is myth, discipline will take you to places.
/ The world is too vast to grasp by your kind mind, and heart. Remember the journey of life shouldn’t be alone. Discover love, companionship, and friendship along the road. Walk down the hill to the beach while holding their hands. Keep in mind that having company on your journey makes it more fulfilling.
/ Once you really see how prevalent it is, you will realise that everyone around us is battling their own fears in some capacity. It may differ in terms of one’s appearance, speech, career, finances, and a host of other factors. They might occasionally project their fear onto us, and in this situation, we must be careful not to take it personally.
/ The desire to be at the top of the world, when you have everything but lack happiness and other people, continues to baffle me. It’s remarkable how we may find satisfaction in things like momos, orange candy bars, trips, etc., but we still have a longing for things that will only take us on a lonely road. I’ve heard a lot of stories about how actors and actresses who win awards don’t have anyone to celebrate with them when they return home.
/ Keep your people around. Hold on to them, and love them more often.
/ Leave some room for magic to happen in your life. Let life unfold in it’s own way.
/ Life is a beautiful thing yet messy.
/ Maybe we should stop trying to give life a number or a timeline or an expiration date and just enjoy the lessons. Enjoy the ride. Revel in the journey.
/ Your own folks can disappoint you occasionally. Reality is how it is. It’s fine, I guess. Even your own family loves you, yet there may be times in your life when they don’t love you in the proper way. Give them space to exist. Do not harbour grudges in your heart. The universe will bring you people who are in the same phase as you to encourage you.
/ Walk barefoot on grass early in the morning. Oh, it’s so refereshing. Reminds me of my childhood days.
/ Keep sharing good and kind reels with your friends. Sometime it’s all they need, and you never know.
The best thing to have with tea is a good friend! Go ahead, and do it now :)
I’m writing this because it makes me feel good to write for myself or other people in a similar situation. Writing helps me reflect on who I am while also allowing me to think beyond of my current limitations.
