October Musing

It’s 6:00 PM in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

The weather has begun to get significantly colder. The time of summer and blooming colours is passed. Winter will be here soon, and many people — including myself — will love it the most. One thing I’ve learned is that weather goes through phases before becoming a full season. These phases, which we refer to as autumn or spring, are the most beautiful seasons, followed by the entire summer and winter. I then question why we do not view the phases of our lives before being entire whole being for a particular goal from a similar perspective. I truly get overwhelmed when relationships starts withering or I feel nothing is under my control. It would be great — if we could have right friends in the ride — who could say — ‘You got this buddy. Do not worry.’

The aesthetics are too captivating to overlook!

The act of musing has become the most cherished aspect of my writing. Once again, I find myself immersed in the depths of what I’ve been feeling.

/ Do not lower your standards to fit in. Elevate yourself instead. The right people will come.

/ Let go of the routine which no longer serves. It was good for few years, but not anymore.

/ Let go of the people who do not even bother to come downstairs to receive you. It matters alot. It’s about the intent. It shows how much a person is willing to do things for you.

/ You do not always have to get it right for the first time.

/ Learn to trust your intuition. Do not listen to the crowd. They only follow what everyone else is doing. Do your thing

/ We clearly know how to sacrifice for others. Slowly and gradually I’m learning to sacrifice for myself for the better being of myself, and my goals.

/ Be nice to others, but not at an expense of your own well being. Why do you do that? Just do not. Make yourself a priorty.

/ Don’t stop when you are tired, stop when you are done.

/ You are the one who has to live with your decision. Stay true to what you believe. Make your own path

/ Stuck is a reminder to restart. Try Try and fail — but stuck is a constant reminder to put efforts to get out of it.

/ follow the advice which you may want to give to your younger siblings or your niece. That would make a lot of difference

/ If you want momos, you gotta have them. Do not have golgappas, just because 10 people want to have them around you.

/ Try your best to be nice to everyone. But do not let people take advantage of you. World is cruel friend — you need to find your space.

/ Let your friend buys you lilys — it’s beautiful. It will light up your desk like anything.

Many times a I have created memories on not so right path! ❤

/ Let things take longer than they do sometimes. Not every time you have to achieve everything in a year.

/ Let yourself be — just for a little while

/ Happiness isn’t a competition. Make your day happier it could be just run for 5km, one cup of tea, talking to your loved ones, watching sunset while listening to Kishore songs and many more such things can be done.

/ Do not run behind perfection but be consistent

/ Know what you want — rest will follow.

/ Don’t escape or ignore your mental health. You’ll only be able to get the right opportunities, make use of them and progress your growth if you are fit — both, physically and mentally. Prioritise equally

/ Find your focus, and commit to your gaol. No external distraction should be big enough to distract you from your gaol. Be the GOAT in your own journey.

Sometime it’s extremely tough to see that the big picture is bright, and sun shall shine tomorrow, even if it’s the darkest night today. So rely on small things such as talking your dog out for a walk, hugging your best friend, sipping over a wine, coffee date with your buddy, and may more such things can be done. Remember this — ‘this too shall pass buddy’ ❤

May October as warm like a your morning cup of chai, and may this month give your life a very warm hug like your old friend did in mountains.

Remember, your smile is your most precious possession. Keep grinning :). We tend to overlook this simple truth too often. Consider this my gentle nudge to you.

Take a pause, and enjoy this moment of your life. I dare you a little.

I‘d like to share a song that holds a special place in my heart: ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass’ by the legendary Kishore Da. This timeless melody was also beautifully reimagined by Ayushman Khurana earlier this year.

Do drop your thoughts in the comment section, and subscribe to my page for more such thoughts. Thankyou ❤.
