One another year passed! For myself, this year has been more about failures than successes — both personally and professionally. Most of the time, I used to think that nothing could possibly go wrong, but then the next worst thing would happen, and I would say, “Oh god!” I’m also happy that I could enjoy like never before in between gloomy days. I tried everything — danced, talked, went on a ride, laughed uncontrollably, made new acquaintances, went to a cafe at four in the morning without planning, did aerial yoga, went to swimming lessons, and more. I tend to feel as though I’m running out of time, so I make an effort to encapsulate every possible thing.

Find yourself ❤

2023 — was a year which I cannot put in one category! I’m grateful for every right thing which happened, and the people I met in my path. Life sometime brings you back to zero — to restart your life for yourself, and for your future. That’s how I see this year for myself. I hope you had a great and fulfilling year!

Here are my thoughts. I learned and unlearned many things this year. It was a year of rediscovering and understanding things in ways I never thought possible. Looking ahead to 2024, my focus is on rising above in every aspect — emotionally, physically, and financially. ❤️

/. Major outtake from the year of emotional riot that 2023 was — Let people earn you. We are so quick to give, grant access, & get comfortable with others without merit. Just to end up disappointed from failed expectations and reciprocation.

/. What love is supposed to do? — well for me — “ to love when it is easy, to love more when it is hard”

/. Let go of “what I thought my life is going to be like” and just moved. Because, I believe it would be really very arrogant of me to believe I know what’s best for me. Right now I’m on the path where I can’t see what next, but I have a belief that it would be awesome.

Just like this, let your thoughts, and people walk out of your life beautifully! Everything is transcends in nature.

/. Most of the time, humans are the most beautiful creatures. Most of the time, they actually don’t want to hurt you; instead, they genuinely want to make sure they make you smile. When someone comments, “Hey, you look good,” it make my evenings! Humans are designed to live in harmony with one another and spend most of our days staring up at the sky while eating.

/. This year got me thinking: just what is a dream? Does it have to be something that makes sense to someone else, or may it be ambiguous? Why there must be a path in life that leads to a specific place. Sometimes we’re cute, sometimes we’re stupid. To me, the idea of a dream is to identify a purpose that might make you feel good about yourself, but in the end, it’s about figuring out what makes you happy.

/. You will never know unless you have tried. Most of ideas/dreams die with the fear of failing. I felt this feeling in me, and I know this is so true!

/. Sometimes people leave your world physically but it’s insane that how they have never left you in the first place.

/. Life is long, and it is filled with hard days but then there are days you are sitting with friends in the dining hall, and discussing about — how to make the best bhel puri or who will make chai at 11 PM in the night.

/. Everyone on social media posts that how 20s should like — or what are top ten things one should do — but no one really speaks about how every year, we realise how much imperfection lies within us. The fairy tale of us being perfect in every way seems to fade away, and this feeling somehow also give us the feeling of relaxation.

Nature has healing powers!!

/. Take that one step towards your dream. It’s scary and comes with uncertainty. But all you have to do is take that one step which will bring closer to your dream. This year I couldn’t take it, but I’m all ready for 2024 happen to me beautifully.

/. Life throws lemons at you, and sometimes whole farm of lemon on you! Recognise that you are not a superhuman who can effortlessly solve every issue. Crawling onto the bed, turning off the lights, watching a TV show, and not caring what happens is totally OK! Not every day needs to be goal-oriented; some days can be spent doing nothing but existing, darling! (Let today’s high point be that the sun was nice today:) )

/. Taking a step back, enjoying some leisure time, and embracing the simplicity of just existing can be a powerful way to recharge and navigate through life’s ups and downs.

/. Absolutely! Sometimes, a change of scenery works wonders. Just like reading a book transports you mentally, a trip can do the same physically. It’s about giving yourself a break, experiencing something different, and refreshing your perspective, whether it’s through the pages of a book or the landscapes of a new place.

/. Initially, I thought in absolutes, like black or white, but over time, I realized that the sweet spot is in the grey. Extremes often lead to disagreement or arguments, but finding a middle ground fosters a belief in togetherness despite differences.

/. Train your mind to think better! After decades of initial years of life, understand these three things —

i) everyone in your life has something or other to deal with — be kind.

ii) Your own people may not turn on the mega event of your life — do not take it personally! it’s okay. life mei kabhi toh kuch chutega hi.

iii) you are your own best friend — invest in yourself.

A cup of coffee can make you feel better at any point of time ❤ Do recommend your fav in comments below.

/. Home is a place you grow wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to.

/. Imagine how different the world would be if we all recieve the kind of love which we want, and deserve. ❤

/. A day doesn’t have to be super exciting to be good. Just a nice, warm shower, a comfy hoodie, and a messy bun can make you feel good by the end of the day. You’ll end up sleeping peacefully, just like a baby.

/. “ do not do it ever again, or else I would not talk” I said it in anger. He clearly noded, and never did the same thing ever again. Love is never in big things but in all these small little things.

/.In today’s world, friendship goals often revolve around sharing an Instagram story or post. My dad told me how he used to write long letters to his friend 2–3 times a week to keep him updated about his life. He shared that he spent 80% of his salary to ensure his friends smiled at his wedding and captured every moment. Those are some incredible friendship goals.

/. When you give up trying to be extraordinarily good and instead concentrate on simply existing, pressure-free, you’ll feel free.

Wholesome Sweets of plate which we all deserve ❤

/. Hearts love whom they want to love! You can fool the mind, but not anyone’s heart.

/. There is no greater joy than knowing that friends with whom you have grown up, seen the school and colleges, are still with you. They might not be your best friends, but they are certainly your friends in this life! A decade of being together is remarkable.

/. The underrated thing between couples do together are joke about random stuff, argue over trivial matters, pull each other’s legs, and take clothes from each other. Along with trying to grasp how vast life is, they also attempt to laugh a lot at each other. A trip will only be more beautiful if there are laughs along the way.

/ Flop era is necessary for the next big era to happen. This is my personal learning from 2023.

/. Do not allow anyone to tell you what do you feel. You know what you feel, understand it, and appreciate it.

/. Never believed in magicals moments, phases or life — today I feel I’m ready for it happen with all my open heart, hands, and mind.

/ The end of the year isn’t truly a start or a finish; rather, it’s a unique occasion when individuals from all over the world and time zones come together to commemorate the year that has passed and begin the next one with a common understanding. This is a time to take a step back, take stock of your lessons learned, identify high and low points in your personal and professional lives, send gifts to pals, and go out to dinner. Perhaps it would be wonderful to learn how to prepare delicious pizza and warm chocolate fudge served with vanilla ice cream. These Netflix series will be the icing on the cake.

/. In the world of instant gratification, do not allow your ego to become a barrier of any relationship in your life. Keep your heart at ease, and let things flow within its own time. World has alot to offer in terms of people, and experience — appreciate this, and learn to let of mistakes.

/. There are certain individuals in your life who bring genuine joy! They’ll tell you all kinds of fascinating things, and you won’t be able to stop smiling. Love them. In your life, they resemble brand-new waves

Why are you attached to screen 24 hours, when the world is so beautiful. Do step out.

/. Life is a series of so many goodbyes, and hello.

/. I don’t regret the love I gave, probably they needed it back then ❤

/. Once in a life — you get to jump in that water — jump my friend. Take that leap of faith. Book a flight, and meet your lover. Plan a goa trip with friends. Do nothing, and sleep. Make your life big in your way!

“The sun belongs to everyone
The best things in life are free
The stars belong to everyone
They gleam there for you and for me

The flowers in spring, the robins that sing…
The water than shines
It’s yours, it’s mine

And love can come to everyone…
The best things in life are free.!”

My favorite book this year was ‘When Breath Becomes Air’ by Paul Kalanithi

My go-to song was ‘I Ain’t Worried’ by One Republic.

Wishing you all a happy and fulfilling 2024! May this year bring you lots of love, good health, great friendships, abundance in money, and positive relationships! Keep your life large or warm — you decide for yourself, my friend.

It’s never too late to realise what you want to become, and chase after your dream! Go for it baby!
